For the shopper with a conscience
Living in a world with ever growing mountains of trash, we simply do not believe in throwaway culture and hope that together we can move towards a more mindful way of living. At I'm Darji, our intent is to be mindful at every step of the way & that reflects in our choice of leather. To reduce the impact on the environment, we craft in small batches using vegetable-tanned leather in 80% of our products. As opposed to chemically tanned leather, vegetable tanned leather is biodegradable, durable & kinder to the planet reducing the chemical waste that ends up in landfill.

Guided by the motto "waste is not waste until you waste it" another source of leather that we use is the left over leather or factory dead-stock.
